Restarting the podcast

I have reworked a few things, and even updated the Audio Player.

The podcast will be recorded once again on Wednesday. It will be a live episode, which is how 23rd Psalm was recorded. I highly recommend listening to that one, as it is a completely revolutionary format.

I will also be re-revealing some ideas that I mentioned in the last podcast, which I believe was for The Hunting Party, but it was never uploaded. So listen in for that too.

I hope a larger audience can be established this time. If someone you know watches LOST (or doesn't because they don't get it) tell them to come here and they can learn about it. I'm going to talk about the LOSTrewards on the next show, which I think could be an incentative to get the word out about the show.

I'm Recording Tomorrow

For those of you who check this website frequently (thank you), just a heads up that I'm recording tomorrow. I need anything you've been holding off with by 7:30pm Central Time tomorrow if you want it to make the show. I promise it will be really cool. I'm going to begin recording 10 minutes prior to the show begining. I have an awesome theory to get in, and an interview.

So check your podcast directory on Thursday to make sure you get the latest portion of LOSTminds!

NOTE: I have not gotten put on iTunes yet. Apologies. Apple hates me. Long story, but it involves downloading LOST on dial-up. But I'll get on there sooner or later, and then you can listen to me all day!

ANOTHER NOTE: I could possibly be getting new equiptment soon, but I'm not sure, as it's $150. But it would sound really cool, so yeah.

LOSTminds Podcast Information

With the release of the first episode, I've so far have 18 downloads for the show, which is pretty cool, considering that it's only on a few directories at the moment.

But anyway, I wanted to give people that check this website a sneak preview into next week's show.

Right now it looks like I'll have a friend from school and fellow "losty" over and he'll do the show with me. I also believe that my mom is going to be on it, because she doesn't like LOST this season, and we'll learn why. That should open some discussion for the my third podcast episode, which will be about the night's LOST episode and what's better or worse about Season 2 from Season 1.

Also, I've been developing a huge theory about the big LOST picture: what the heck is going on? Where are they? Why are they there? I will give my theory!

And of course, I want to put your stuff on the show too! You can email your theories to lostmindscast@gmail.com or call 1-206-339-3715 to leave a voicemail that will be put onto the show. Or you can simply sign into the forums and post your theories on there!

I'll explain two things now, Tie-Ins and Connections. Tie-Ins will be connected LOST to the real world, and Connections will be little things in the episodes that relate to each other.

As the vast majority of all podcasts, this podcast will be free to subscribe to and download. Note that the overall sound quality is not top notch, but if the Pilot does well and the show gets a good sized audience, I will probably move up to better equiptment.

Hello LOST fans. I've got two announcements for you today. First, I'd like to introduce the LOSTleaders. Those of you familiar with www.jayandjack.blogspot.com will relate it to the Lost Podcast Team. That's pretty much what it is, except you'll never get that Jorge Garcia picture off me in a contest. All you do as a member of the team is advertise the website. This can be done just by letting your friends know about it, or go as far to have a plane write the URL in the sky. Do I need to say I won't give reimbursement for any costs? Joining is as easy as sending me an IM on the message boards, or running off an email to voldemort950@yahoo.com

On another note, I'd like to advertise the LOSTminds Message Boards, were there is currently a poll about me starting a podcast. I'd like to know what you think about this. I would like to do one on Entertainment, such as video game ratings, movie reviews, and a blog on LOST every so often.

Where are the survivors?

There has been a lot of discussion all over the internet as to where the survivors of Oceanic Flight 815 are. Well, I went to www.oceanic-air.com to see what that site was all about (created by the LOST producers and Disney) and I ran into an interesting little easter egg. It had a copy of one of the messages in the bottle that was on the raft. It stated:

I survived a horrific plane crash and am stranded on an island somewhere Northeast of Australia and Southwest of Hawaii. In the event that I am never found, please forward word of my fate to my parents.

If anyone should find this message, please get word I'm alive and stranded on an island somewhere in the South Pacific. Please send help soon. Things are bad. And they're getting worse...

Hello everyone. First off I'd like to thank Jay of "The Lost Podcast with Jay and Jack" for creating the basic format of this site, as well as uploading the forum. Thank you so much!
